JOLLY BUOY BEACH

The island is a part of the Mahatma Gandhi Marine National Park. It has a golden shining beach with a canopy of hanging branches of dense bushes. The underwater marine life is fantastic and indicates a sharp reflection of the corals and sea weeds in the beautiful designs of plants and flowers. Jolly Buoy Island is an ideal place for scuba diving and snorkeling. It is accessible by boats from Wandoor, which is about 30 km by road from Port Blair.
